You're Cordially Invited Review A Comedy Film That Lacks Comedy

You're Cordially Invited Review

Introduction
Lately, after watching so many suspense thriller action
films, my mind had become really serious. I didn't even feel like joking or
having fun. I didn’t want to turn into someone like that permanently, so I
decided to watch a comedy film.

The Premise
The story revolves around a wedding venue where the
owner accidentally double-books the place. As a result, both families arrive at
the location, leading to a major misunderstanding. They try to resolve the
issue, but neither side is willing to compromise. In the end, whose wedding is
successful and whose turns into a disaster? What kind of crazy situations
unfold there? To find out, you'll have to watch the entire movie.
A Comedy That Isn’t Funny
Now, if I had to sum up my review of this film in one
line, I would say: This movie is labeled as a comedy, but it contains
absolutely no comedy. I have never seen such a terrible movie in my life!
They are promoting it as a full-fledged comedy film, claiming that it is packed
with humor and that every scene will make you laugh. But honestly, it’s a
two-hour-long movie, and not a single scene made me laugh. The entire film is
so ridiculous and unbearable that it was difficult to sit through.
A Disappointment for Comedy Lovers
If people call this comedy, then I sincerely thank God
that I don’t belong to this generation. I come from a generation where I got to
watch genuinely great comedy films. This so-called comedy is just awful—the
dialogues are terrible, the cinematography is horrendous, and there’s no
enjoyment in watching it.
Cheap Humor That Falls Flat
Most of the dialogues revolve around adult jokes and
sexual references. While that in itself isn't a problem, the issue is that none
of these dialogues are actually funny. The filmmakers seem to believe that such
dialogues will make the audience laugh uncontrollably. Forget laughing—I had
tears in my eyes, but not from joy. Instead, I was wondering how I was supposed
to find this funny.
Misleading Promotions and Posters
Another thing that really annoyed me about this film
was its misleading poster. The main character is shown holding a crocodile in
his hands, which makes you think that the crocodile will have an important role
in the movie. But in reality, the crocodile appears for just one minute, and
even that scene is so illogical and absurd that you’ll wonder what the
connection is between the poster and the actual film.
Overacting and Poor Performances
There is not a single funny moment in this film. Every
character is overacting, especially the girl’s father—his acting was so
exaggerated that it was unbearable. All the characters were awful and annoying,
making it a real challenge to tolerate them. The story has no substance, the
comedy is non-existent, and the performances are abysmal.
Final Verdict
If you want to waste your time and ruin your mood, then
go ahead and watch this film. But if you take my advice, you should skip it
altogether. Still, if you're determined to watch it, you can find it on Amazon.
The runtime is about two hours. I will never make the mistake of watching such
a film again.
Summery
This so-called comedy film is a complete disappointment. The story revolves around a double-booked wedding venue, leading to chaos, but the humor falls flat. Marketed as a laugh riot, the film lacks genuine comedy, relying on terrible dialogues, overacting, and cheap adult jokes that fail to amuse. A misleading poster featuring a crocodile adds to the frustration, as the creature appears for barely a minute. The performances are unbearable, especially the exaggerated acting of the girl’s father. With no real substance, this film is a waste of time.
